There is a warning to the display and it is the brightness level when set to boost the overdrive mode which completely defeats the purpose of the mode.
Therefore, it is advisable to avoid this mode. The color reproduction is also slightly below par, but still particularly commendable for a gaming monitor priced at $230, which is competitive. The contrast ratio is another story because its color accuracy is absolutely superb from both top to bottom. The BenQ EL2870U is a TN-based 28-inch panel with a 4K resolution of 3840×2160. It is limited to just 60 Hz, so there is no ultra-high frame rate support here, but it does offer free sync technology to eliminate screen tearing in the game and reduce fees on GPUs and lose FPS in the process Without it. The panel itself is reminiscent of Samsung’s stance with a modern looking stand but is attractive with a gunmetal gray finish.
The bezel size is not terrible, but slightly thicker than its rivals. The overall build quality is excellent.
